Buildings that trade, and the air they have to move

Commercial heating, cooling and ventilation for West Palm Beach restaurants, retail units and offices — including the kitchens that pull the air out faster than anything puts it back.

Facilities

What we do

  • Planned maintenance

Coils, filters, drains, belts, electrical checks, controls and safeties — timed to the season and written up per unit.

  • Service

Diagnosed with instruments, priced in writing, on buildings where we already hold a record of what is installed.

  • Ventilation and pressure

Extract, make-up air and the building pressure problems that follow a kitchen, a change of use, or an extractor somebody upgraded.

  • Replacement planning

Which unit is next, what changing it involves, and when to budget it — rather than replacing whatever fails first.

Kitchens

If the front door is hard to open, the kitchen is winning

A commercial kitchen hood moves a lot of air out of a building. If make-up air does not replace it, the building goes negative: doors stick, the dining room gets hot and humid, and smoke rolls out of the hood instead of up it.

Tick the symptoms and the check tells you which of those it is and what gets measured first.

Who we work for

Trading buildings, mostly

  • Restaurants and barsHoods, make-up air, and a dining room that has to stay comfortable through service.
  • RetailDoors open to the plaza in August, on equipment sized for a different decade.
  • Offices and clinicsZoning, schedules and the rooms that never agree with each other.
  • Managed buildingsSeveral tenants, one roof, and a record that has to outlive all of them.
Questions

Before you call

The front door is hard to open when the kitchen runs. Why?

Because more air is leaving the building than arriving. The extract is working; the supply is not replacing it. Our kitchen check separates that from a hood problem, and the fix is make-up air rather than a bigger extractor.

Smoke rolls out of the hood. Is the hood too small?

Sometimes, but just as often the room cannot supply the air the hood needs. Both are measurable in one visit — hood airflow and building pressure with the kitchen running.

Do you clean kitchen exhaust ducting?

Grease cleaning inside ducting is a specialist fire-safety job. We will tell you when it is due and coordinate with whoever does it rather than working around it.

What does your maintenance include?

Coils, filters, drains, belts, electrical checks, controls and safeties, timed to the season and written up per unit with what changed since the last visit.

Do you work on houses?

Yes — repairs, replacements sized to dry the house as well as cool it, and duct work, with the same instruments.

Which areas do you cover?

West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Riviera Beach, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.
